ferrofix wand replaces conventional installation methods with erection bars, spacers and wire ties while hugely simplifying the installation of wall rebars. Clearly it is easy to manipulate this profile shape, which was designed specifically for walls, resulting in more convenient working methods, more accurate fixation and valuable time savings.
Patented and tested
The functional profile shape is patented (pat. no. 1,118,730). Furthermore, ferrofix wand is approved for external walls. The test report dated 19.3.01 issued by the TFB (Swiss Technical Institute for Research and Consulting on Cement and Concrete, CH-5103 Wildegg) provides information in this respect. The light colour of the profile means the small points of support blend in with the colour of the cement.
Versatile application
ferrofix wand is used where it is essential that the vertical rebars are held in the correct position. In addition to whole wall areas, the profile can also be used efficiently with splice bars, beams and balustrades.
