Importance of spacers in the concrete
The rebars are fixed to the prepared formwork at the required points using the right spacers for maximum benefit. ferrofix decke is the right spacer to use with rod and concrete in order to reliably meet engineering requirements.
Secure concrete bond
One third of the profile surface is cut out. The horizontal oblong hole measures 27 x 45 mm and there are staggered cut-outs on the two sides 25 mm apart. Hence ferrofix decke is completely enclosed by the coarse-grain concrete. Test results from the TFB (Swiss Technical Institute for Research and Consulting on Cement and Concrete) testing institute dated 19.3.01 confirm what has been found in practice.
